METRO LAKES DISTRICT of the Northern Star Council Boy Scout of America

Scout Advancement Info & Resources

An important part of all of Scouting programs is a youth's ability to advance and earn recognition. Cub Scouts learn by earning badges tward the Arrow of Light; Boy Scouts continue that journey, oneward & upward, toward the lofty goal of Eagle Scout. Young men and women in the Venturing program work toward different levels of recognition, from the outdoors-aimed Ranger Award to the prestigious Gold and Silver Awards. Scouts and Adults in all programs also work toward other levels of recognition and special awards.

In order to help Metro Lakes Scouts as they progress in rank and work toward recognitions, our Advancement Committee offers many resources, provided here on this page.
